Nigella’s chocolate orange cake

Quick and fancier tasting than its simple looks portray. What more do you want from a cake?
What you need
125g unsalted butter.
100g of dark chocolate (I use Green and Blacks extra cocoa).
300g of quality marmalade.
150g caster sugar.
Pinch of salt.
2 large free range beaten eggs.
150g self-raising flour.
What you do
Preheat oven to 180C.
Melt the butter in a heavy saucepan and add the chocolate.
Remove the pan from the heat and stir until all chocolate melted.
Add the marmalade, sugar, salt and eggs. Give it a good stir with a wooden spoon and then beat in the flour bit by bit.
Put it all in a buttered and floured 20cm Springform tin.
50 minutes later – that’s it. You’re supposed to leave it to cool for 10 minutes but it’s pretty good warm with cream as well as eaten as a cake.
Have you got a recipe for me? If so, send it with a photo of yourself and tell me who you are. If it looks tasty enough, I’ll try it out.
